Fluoropolymer prevents the adhesion of almost any substances.
Fluoropolymer has strong Carbon(C) and fluorine(F) bond with highly stable molecular structure. Thus, it is so hard to combine (=adhere to) other substance to have excellent water repellant property (washability).
Fluoropolymer's contact angle with water is approximately 110°, which makes it incomparably better than materials such as buffed stainless steel.
* Washability, represented by water repellent property, is measured by the contact angle with water. Larger contact angle means "better water repellent property", as well as good non-stick properties and washability. |
